Leadership Development Training
SAMHSA's Block Grant Reviews
NAMHPAC is holding a Leadership Training for planning council chairs during this year's Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Block Grant Reviews. This training is designed to provide PAC chairs with the necessary skills and tools needed to effectively lead a planning council. PAC chairs have an opportunity to learn more about the Federal Statue and Planning Council Requirements, while having an opportunity to express their concerns and challenges of their planning council. In addition, PAC chairs are also trained on how to effectively facilitate a meeting along with learning various approaches to gathering and presenting data as part of their monitoring responsibilities.
